»
Thread the red bowsquare into the BowPlane shaft until the shaft just touches the o-ring.
»
Just like a normal arrow, "nock" the square on your bowstring and set the BowPlane shaft in your arrow rest.
»
Rotate the BowPlane on the threads of the square, compressing the o-ring slightly, until the laser line aligns with the entire length of your bowstring.
»
Move centershot of your rest left or right (with the BowPlane in it) until the laser lines align with both your top and bottom cam. For some fall away rests, you may need to lift the launcher arm and keep it in up position while you adjust your rest.
»
Double-check that your string and cams are in perfect alignment with the laser plane and if so, your done -- this is where to lock in centershot on your rest and windage on your sight pins -- the perfect vertical plane made between your bowstring, cam track/grooves -- the plane in which your arrow leaves your bow.

| General Tips:
|
|
»
Install batteries negative end first and turn on by pushing the end switch, rotating slightly if necessary for better connection.
»
Keep the end connection clean for a good electrical conductivity.
»
Occasionally, oil the two o-rings on the switch slightly to keep them soft and make sliding on and off easier.
»
After using the BowPlane, you may need to adjust your pins slightly depending on your form and setup (if you torque the riser or not, style of release, loop or not, etc.) or depending on your bow (nock travel, type of cam, quality of construction, tolerances).
»
If you can't get your bowstring and both cams/wheels to line up together with the laser then you probably have "cam lean." Most bows have some bit of cam lean, so depending on how far you are going to be shooting then you can choose to have it fixed or ignore it. It's up to you and how "perfect" you want to get and on how far you are intending to shoot.
»
The BowPlane works on a single cam bows equally as well as twin cam or hybrid cam systems.
»
Remove the batteries from your BowPlane for storage.
